The Liebster Award
The Liebster Award
The Artful Appetite has been awarded The Liebster Award! Hooray! What a honor to be recognized by another blogger.
So what is the Liebster Award?
For those who don’t know, the Liebster Award is a virtual award that is passed on from blogger to blogger as support by way of promotion.
The rules that apply when you are nominated for, and accept the Liebster Award are as follows:
To start of, I would to recognize and thank the person who nominated me and my blog:
Camping for Women is still a relatively new blog with a big vision to publish works from outdoor women adventurers around the world to benefit women who have a genuine love of nature. Founder Nicole Anderson works with contributors across 8 of the globe’s major regions to build and develop a central hub of information, resources, articles, and videos to maximise women’s enjoyment of the great outdoors everywhere. The rate of growth and popularity of this site continues at an impressive rate and we are excited to have been nominated by them.
I started this blog in the spring of 2016 as a creative outlet for my art and love of food.
I love to swim, hike, canoe, kayak, rock climb, backpack, camp…in fact, Glacier National Park is one of my favorite places on earth!
Probably hiking in Glacier National Park and seeing three grizzly bears on the same 16 mile hike!
Maya Angelou. She was such an inspiring woman and writer!
Oh boy, this question is so difficult! I would say that pottery and painting rank highly, as well as hiking and swimming.
Another difficult question! My travel bucket list is long. High on the list is hiking to Machu Picchu and also hiking the Himilaya.
One of my favorite childhood memories is when we would go camping in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota.
I would love to be a master potter or be able to code websites. Two very different things, but I love pottery and I think coding is fascinating!
I am probably the most creative with my photography. When I am photographing weddings, portraits, or food, I can feel the creative juices flowing!
All of the amazing water! Minnesota has (at least) 10,000 lakes and I love spending time at them, especially in the summer time.
I would love to continue blogging and building a treasury of my favorite recipes to share with my family, friends, and followers. Eventually, I would like to create and photograph recipes for cookbooks and blog fulltime!

DIY is a way to not only get the most bang for your buck but also put a little love into your home decor and instill some pride! We continue to work on our DIY but also offer other bloggers some resources for starting their own DIY blog. Come check us out and see why we love what we do!
