I have a habit of reading cookbooks for fun. It is especially fun when there are beautiful photographs to accompany the recipes. I must say that I am much more inclined to purchase a cookbook if the pictures are abundant and beautiful! Here are a few of my favorite vegetarian and plant-based cookbooks.

Cookbooks, mostly plant-based and/or vegetarian

Bowl Vegetarian cookbook by Lukas Volger
This is a vegetarian cookbook that is filled with beautiful recipes. I have made several and they were all top-notch delicious!
Awesome Vegan Soups cookbook by Vanessa Croessmann
This cookbook is filled with delicious soup and stew recipes. It is broken up by season, which I love!
Meatless Vegetarian Cookbook by Martha Stewart
This cookbook is full of beautiful recipes and photographs. Everything I have made from it has been delicious!
River Cottage Veg Vegetarian Cookbook by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall
This cookbook is a hefty one that is full of great recipes. Again, everything I made from it was delicious.
Vegan Weight Loss Manifesto by Zuzana Fajkusova Nikki Lefler Active Vegetarian Blog
This is more than just a cookbook-it is a near step-by-step guide to changing your lifestyle and diet for better health. I did an in-depth review on it which you can find in my blog archives. The recipes are also fantastic!
Plenty Vegetarian Cookbook by Yotam Ottolenghi
This decidely not vegan cookbook is, however, vegetarian and full of beautiful recipes. Some more indulgent than others, each recipe I have tried has been delicious.
